I brought this adorable little Saw Whet Owl in a couple weeks ago after a family found him outside out on their lawn, unable to really fly or hop away from them. He's been doing amazingly well and has a nice feisty little attitude about him.

His talons are SUPER sharp and small, so you gotta watch your hands around them!

I volunteer at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Basically what we do is we take in injured and orphaned wildlife and help them to return to the wild.

Awww, we had an old Saw Whet at the center I volunteered at, as well. Loved that little fellow. These small owls are so awesome and such an adorable youngster here! I think I almost prefer their juvenile/fledgling plumage to their adult! Haha.

Both the fledgling plumage and adult plumage are so beautiful it's hard to choose which I like more haha!

I work for a bird of prey rehab, we don't get these guys in very often. We raised a baby last year tho. <3
